Search the Panama Papers

May 9, 2016 by Mark Tully

SODOM & GOMORRAH: Announced with the standard disclaimers that there are some legitimate reasons for having offshore accounts, the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) has now opened up the ability for anyone to search through the massive trove of documents.

The leak, which occurred earlier this year, is notable for being the largest whistleblower leak in history. Over 2.3 terabytes of documents were leaked to the press by an anonymous source. This source, which claims to want these crimes made public, has acquired documents dating back several decades from Mossack Fonseca, a Panama based bank that facilitates the creation of offshore corporations and accounts.

For the curious, you can search the database by visiting this link.
